Haven't seen a Mighty-Empires map in years; always wanted to get my hands on some for making campaign maps, rather than always depending on printed equivalents. Regardless, I really like the way yours turned out!

Kind Regards,
Rico

Had the chance to put together and paint some (more) knights recently - not quite sure why I needed them but I really wanted to pursue new kitbashing options.

This is reason enough  ;)
Just seeing this has inspired me to get back on the plastic, after a few months away... It’s an addiction, no doubt about it  lol

Thanks, all :)

They're like gold dust. They can go for silly money on eBay.

Glad it had that effect :) Inspiration is a virtuous circle!

Something new - a foot character for the Order. The inspiration for this guy was varied: on the one hand I wanted to build a sword and board character inspired by the Black Prior from the For Honor videogame (albeit somewhat less edgy), and on the other I wanted to portray the ranking officer of a chapterhouse keep, a knight whose responsibility is the maintenance and protection of one of the Order's havens. I figured such an officer would need to tie into the Chapterhouse Guard (pictured below) as a knightly character leading non-knightly infantry. To do so, I repeated the shield motif of the Guard, which worked surprisingly well!

" ... the seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days."

I love all of the conversions you've added throughout the army. The shields look particularly striking when looking at the whole assembled unit.

And that's it - the heroes for this weekend's Rangers of Shadow Deep game are complete. I'll share the pre-game briefing and battle report here and on the RoSD board, in due course...

Had loads of fun painting these!

They're the types that guard the borders, while good folk sleep in their warm beds.
