Hi guys,

in the back of my mind I vaguely remember an article published by Games Workshop on their website, perhaps ten or more years ago, detailing the construction of four large chaos tainted trees, one for each of the gods.  The article was probably split into multiple parts, I'm trying to track down the nurgle tree part of the article, or even just pictures of the tree would be good enough to work from.

any clues guys? I've found one shot from google which I 'think' might be the tree, but i'm not 100% certain that it is

There was a similar article in an early No Quarter Magazine where scratch built horror trees were featured.

You can find a version of the article from the old gw site on archive.org.
Hardly any of the pics got archived though.

The tree in question is the third one, though from your pic it looks like it got modified later on. Just keep clicking the links for the full article: http://web.archive.org/web/20040603215716/http://us.games-workshop.com:80/games/warhammer/beastsofchaos/terrain/tree/3tree0.htm

Saved the text/ pics ages ago and compiled them into a pdf. Don't know if inserting pics via attachment works (and if posting them here is actually ok from a copyright point of view, but I'm sure the mods will ask me to delete them if not).

Fantastic! That's the one I was after, thank you  :D

The pictures are a great help, they tell me everything I need to know. Don't know why they felt the need to rework it, I love the original
