Looking for flint weapons
« on: March 16, 2018, 06:19:19 AM »
I picked up some 28mm Copplestone Cavemen, but most of them didn't have weapons.  Are there any companies that sell appropriately sized flint spears, daggers or axes by themselves?

Thanks

If memory serves, Foge(d?) of Ice do some similar stone weapons
Failing that, Warlord does separate 28mm clubs for its ancient Germans (https://store.warlordgames.com/collections/germanic-tribes/products/clubs) which could be a backup option?

go to :

https://cpmodels.co.uk/product-category/28mm-ranges/fantasy/ancient-fantasy

you'll find this there for cheap :

or do it your self

with a paperclip and a bit of lead (from a 28mm base).
here are some Foundry and BTB ancient German converted into cavemen.

I made my own using a regular steel spear from Foundry that I flattened the end and then added greenstuff to make it look like a flint tip. Some thin copper wire or shaped greenstuff provided the string wrapping.
Wargamers do it on a table.
