North Star Snake men = Space 1889 Lizard men

Is it just me or would some of  the North Star blister/twin packs be an easy conversion to suitable Space 1889 Venus Lizardmen?

Not the plastic multi-kit but the metal packs. The multi-pack has maybe too much armour with some of the metal packs but such as the Pearl Driver/Savage/scout/hunter etc ?

I think I still find them a little 'civilized' compared to my own vision of the wee lads, handsome though they be. I guess I'd expect crude stone weapons and 'thatch' loincloths.

That said, I've not read deeply of the 1889's lizard folk, and shall do so shortly.

The ones I mention are the most "rustic" styles. The Pearl driver for example could be carrying a dyno tooth rather than dagger?

May have to answer my own question by buying some when they come out.
