You are working with a distinctly lighter, more pastel pallet with these last two.Are you emerging from your Black Phase,  worn out from painting vampires and Victoriana for your Dark Master, or has that large bottle of black paint finally been used up? :D
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

That’s an incredible figure Chris. Beautifully painted.

I like the leather colour of his holster and gun belt. What’s the base colour you’ve used on that?

Love it!  Even though the miniature is called Billy Clanton, it reminds me more of Powers Booth as Curly Bill in Tombstone.

I can't remember Richard, I was playing around with Vallejo browns at the time. Possibly Vallejo oiled leather with some yellow or ochre dumped in for the high lights.

Cheers Plynkes, I've packed up copying the film costumes, I must've watched Tombstone on fast forward at least 50 times in the last couple of months. I'm beginning to feel  the onset of paranoid button counting disease.
The minor characters are just gonna' have to put up with generic western clothing from now on.  ;)
