Monochromatic painting-Why not!
« on: March 22, 2018, 04:23:59 PM »
I attempted monochromatic painting last night. I put some pictures of the results on my blog.  Let me know what you think.

That sounds pretty interesting. Might have to play with that idea.

Im working on Mantic's The Walking Dead in monochromatic grays. My friend does a,l his Zombicide zombies that way.

It can get really tiresome but if done right looks simply amazing.

Yours looks nice.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

From limited palette to monochromatic; you are quite the minimalist, aren't you? ;)

Going by the picture, you're certainly on the right track. Can't wait to see a complete miniature painted this way...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Nice painting - but there's something a bit wrong with the proportions of that head.
The skull is very low - there should be more head above the eyes.

Plenty of people with even lower sloping foreheads  where I work  lol
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Well I didn’t sculpt it, I just bought it. :)
