To Cromojaro - what German artillery are you thinking of in particular? I assume it's not something already in production, if you have something in mind let me know.

hmmm...not sure that's a good candidate - isn't that just the 105 but without the muzzle brake? FYI the Pak 38(R) should be coming out some time from Perry's...

Any other suggestions? North Africa/not done before/unusual are good criteria.

Gidday John. The  7.5 cm Gebirgsgeschütz 36 was used in North Africa etc.

Lovely work on the French mountain guns.

All the best,

Helen

Nice work John!

How about the Canon d'Infanterie de 37 modèle 1916 TRP (37mm 'Puteaux' SA 18)? It was wheeled but they could be detached to lower its profile.

Used by French units who had not received the 25mm AT Gun, so many of the overseas 'colonial' units had it. It was also used by the Polish Army in 1939 (wz.18), the U.S. Army pre-war (M1916), in the Spanish Civil War and the Germans took it into service as the 3.7 cm IG 152(f) in 1940.

There are two candidates: the 15cm schwere feldhaubitze 18 and the 15 cm shweres infanteriegeschütz 33.

manned by Nomad Group Meharists ?
Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

Just for your info, Trenchworx does a lovely 15cm. I have one an its lovely.

https://trenchworx.com/product/15cm-sfh18-howitzer/

JTFM and other companies have the 15 cm shweres infanteriegeschütz 33 of which JTFM is the better model IMHO.

Hope this helps you.

All the best,

Helen

Thanks Helen. but 50 USD for the gun without the crew is expensive.

Old Glory make one. The gun isn’t bad, the crew are their usual dross but there are plenty of useful crew figures elsewhere.

IIRC I’ve seen another one somewhere.

As for the leFH 18, there are a couple of available models both in 1/56 (Warlord) and 1/48 (Gasoline). You just need to cut the muzzle brake off yourself.

Lou, I think there is an esoteric band of us who would love Micheal to do some more French, Italian and British colonial troops for North and East African side show campaigns. Italian askari are at the top of my list

By the by if we can request guns, I’d quite like a  KPÚV vz. 37 AKA, the 3,7cm Pak 156 (t). Quite a few saw service with the Germans and it’s a rather cute looking little gun.  It’s predecessor, the KPÚV vz. 34 would be equally nice but I’m not sure the Germans used it. Funnily enough I’ve seen them in museums in both Colombia and Peru.

Genialjim, on the off chance you didn’t know, Empress produce some lovely Italian Askari, sculpted by Paul Hicks.
