Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Apologies for the delay with the update. Been busy painting  lol I am also not so great with taking pictures.

Up to platoon strength now with artillery and MG supports as well. Just got some Austria-Hungarians now so I may take a break and start on those.

Interesting, from which manufacturer do you have the Austrians?

Thanks for the information.
That's cool, those of Paul Hicks are the best Austrians for me.
Find the choice between the normal infantry and the Tyrolean Landsturm super.
Look forward to more pictures.

Bolt Action for now. If the armies get bigger I would like to try brigade level games with say 20 figures to a battalion. Not sure what rules to use for that? If anyone has any ideas?

The Brigade Games Austro-Hungarians are really nice figures. It is just annoying they do a field gun but no crew for it.

The Brigade Games Austro-Hungarians have some nice supporting weapons - good mortar and Schwarzlose machinegun.
