BIG Space Dwarfs.
« on: March 27, 2018, 06:51:49 PM »
Seeing as GW have a new Squat in the pipeline... This one, in fact:

I thought I would see what I could come up with to get into the spirit of things. This image is self explanatory:

I have another two on the go at the moment; one with a heavy-bolter and one with a flamer and they should be finished pretty quickly because of the minimal conversion work. I think that they will all be about the same height as the new Necromunda Squat so the big question is...

... where does it go from here?  :o

Now I just need Forgeworld to release the Necromunda Squat and I'm golden :)

Nice work, but dang those are big compared to the old guys! What's the sole-to-eyeline measurement on the new ones you've made?

Kind of reminds me of the dwarfs from the first hobbit boxed set.  IIRC, they were as tall as regular 28mm humans.

The helmeted Dwarf is 27mm to the top of his head... so 25mm to eye level.

They are certainly big but I think they will be spot on for the new Necromunda Squat to join them :)

I'm blowing the dust off this one again... I have added another couple of big Space Dwarfs... one being the leader and the other being a cyber Dwarf that counts as a Bulgryn bodyguard:

I've also converted a further Arkanaut:

I have another one on the bench but it's not far enough along to have a picture yet :) .
