Talked a lot with the Perrys at Tactica and can confirm that they will bring a box of later hundred years war cavalry. But as Alan said: "Michael will do them eventually, but don't expect them too soon ..." So probably some more years to wait. And sadly no new horses in standing stances.

The three-ups have been some Elisabethans. BUT, not for a forthcoming box, but rather a small sideproject, also no release plan, if at all. Although Michael did a nice self portrait on one of the figures ...

Apart from that, Napoleonics as usual.  ;)

Happily. It will remain to be seen if they are a wholly metal range like the Carlists or actually in plastic. Their niche, ‘I did cos it just appealed to me’ ranges do tend to be in metal for obvious reasons, vis Mafeking, Carlists, British Intervention, etc, etc.

Elizabeathans would be fine - their Wars of Religion range they did for Citadel many years ago is still one of my favourites.

Yup would also fit in with their Irish kerns and gallowglass and may also see some border horse etc. Nice to see them updating and revisiting their old citadel ranges too

Whilst everyone is busy fulminating over plastics, I don't suppose whether anyone questioned the twins about any prospective releases from Blitzkrieg Miniatures ? ???

They may be good pals to the twins and occasionally work in collaboration with them, but Blitzkrieg Miniatures are a different company and it probably wouldn't be appropriate for Alan and Michael to announce their future releases. But you can check the Blitzkrieg FB page for updates  and ask questions there if you feel like it :

From the look of it, it's Cold War stuff all the way at the moment chez Blitzkrieg, with WW2 on the back burner for now.

Would think that earlier French Napoleonic infantry may be a good shout for a plastic box, given that the 1815 metal range has now diversified into pre 1812, & the new Chasseur a Cheval fit into that time span.

Thanks Arthur, I didn't realise they had a Fb page until you pointed it out. Looks like we have to rely on Rubicon instead for the time being for WW2 stuff.
As for the Perrys I speculate Landschnekts or Elizabethans and HYW cavalry sometime in the next 12 months. Sadly no WW2 Italians.

I also think the Nap 'Pre-1812' French Infantry is long overdue and would be a really good seller! I also said the same about the Chasseurs a Cheval some years back but it has taken this long to get them out. Still, looking at the frames, well worth the wait!

I am also hoping a box of Nap Portuguese Infantry will come out at Salute. I know Warlord does some - and I bought some too - but they are just not up to par with what I know the Twins can produce. I am also still hoping for a box of plastic Nap Bavarians too!!!!!!! ;) Oh, and definitely a box of plastic NWF Afghans/Pathans as well as a box of WW2 Italians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One can dream....

Still nobody else with photos or further info from the 'Tactica 2018' show????
