Agis' Star Wars minis
« on: March 31, 2018, 11:51:31 AM »
Another, maybe even better Obi Wan is from Skullforge Studios! Dynamic pose, flowing robe, crisp Clone armour, I like the sculpt.
Shapeways model in Smoothest Fine Detail, still some rough spots though...

I hate you so much right now.  ;)

Those are so beautifully painted it makes me want to cry.

He, he, thanks folks!

An extra day off is always welcome, I used the time to finish the 1st Rebel squad:

I even took some extra time to create a nice scenic shot, Lens flare and all...

And the WIP conversions for the next Rebel squad.

Left: Head swap with Statuesque minis, bottle, helmet from Victoria minis.
Leader: bendy WotC head, Grenades and arms from GW IG
Right: extra shoulder pads from Anvil Industries.
:)

Excellent conversions Agis. I was going down the same path with some of the rebels. I wasn't sure if the Bith head was too big or not and so I went with a Mon Calamari head for my leader. I like the shoulder pads to add some differences. They look nice. This shows the advantages of having a large collection of bits.

Marvelous work there!

Inspiring stuff.

I also heartily agree with the comment about a well-stocked bits box being a thing of joy and beauty.

I haven't really been a fan of the Legion minis but your conversions and paint jobs really bring them to life, well done sir.
