RAF 100 - Greek Mythology style
« on: April 01, 2018, 06:11:17 PM »
To celebrate the Centenary of the RAF I rushed to complete the aerial element of my Jason and the Argonauts, Greek and other mythology.

The Pegasi - by Casting Room Miniatures

The Harpies from a variety of manufacturers.

Other creatures - various manufacturers and I have no idea what the three-headed creature is but it looks mythological.

Birdmen

Flying Skirmishers - Garrison

Flying Hoplites and a Peltast

'He could have lived a risk-free, moneyed life, but he preferred to whittle away his fortune on warfare.'
-- Xenophon, The Anabasis

Wow I really like those Garrison figs. Do you remember what they were called?

They were called surprisingly enough - "Winged Warriors"
SS95, 96, 97 with bat wings and SS101, 102, 103 with Feathered wings
