Shadespire and warhammering.

Picked up a couple of shadespire sets to paint up. A bit different to what I usually work on but were an enjoyable challenge and came out looking okay.

Quoting for truth!

Echoing the others, I am not keen on the 'dwarfs' but the orcs are nice models, as are what I've seen of the other Shadespire sets.

Really though, too modest, they are beyond any standard I will ever achieve  :)

Love the paintwork, hate the models.  Really wonderful work though!

Lovely! That yellow on the Orks is astounding! :-* Are you going to do the Undead team?

That's why I tend towards more vivid colours.

Yes, I'm intending to paint all of the teams or whatever they are called. These were tests to get a feel for the models and come up with a suitable approach. I've done so many single characters that I was a little concerned I'd struggle painting a group but it went better than expected. If things go to plan (not a guarantee given how this year has been) I'll be doing tutorials too.

Stunning brushwork!
 :-* :-*

I have been following your Supers for a good while now and it is good to see you taking your style into another genre. I have been eyeing up those weird Dwarves for a while now and you are not helping my resistance with pictures like that....
 ;)

Grand show, I have some of those orcs - er, orruks - lying around. Love your take on the colours for their armour.

I've repainted my orcs, improving the colours and adding more detailing.
