Big Wars of the Roses bash
« on: April 03, 2018, 06:38:16 AM »
At the last Tring Club Games Day I organised a 4-player Wars of the Roses game, using Sword and Spear. Each player controlled a 400 point army, the Lancastrian forces were slightly balanced in favour of their heavy infantry, so would have the advantage in melee. I'd gone for a more shooty option with the Yorkists, which gave us more manoeuvrebility and an advantage if we could keep them at a distance.

Full AAR and photos are on the blog http://tringwargames.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/yorkists-2-lancastrians-0.html

flatpack - they are all 10mm, almost all from Pendraken.

Humakt - Each command had a general and one captain, plus 13-15 units. We had 4 sets of activation dice, so each command had their own dice in the bag. We treated each command separately for calculating the Army Demoralization discipline test, but combined the two commands for the final Army Retire level.
