Andy,
The train, plane, sub, and fire engine. Are all cereal packet card. as is the old tri motor which will make an appearence (but that's been photographed to the point of boredom.so it won't turn up here.)
The weather station come control tower(roll it fills on account of me not having made a control tower yet.) the wind gauge is three dressmakers pins filed on one side.

Thanks, that's very encouraging, partly because I prefer making everything myself that I can, but also because I'm broke, so cereal packets are about my budget at the moment. Have you any tips for forming wings etc, so I don't end up reinventing the wheel?

I appreciate you don't want to bore other people, but could you give me a link?

Unfortunately the gremlins are out in force. It just won't let post a link.
All of these have old tutorials over on the workbench. The red plane and fire engine are on the back of one off them.

I don't think I did a tutorial on the boat(I think I did by PM's). But there all cereal packet builds. There is a thread on the Colonial board,as its a Swiss army knife of kit.
Hope that helps.
Mark.

Your vehicle builds are just fantastic TSG. I like the tractor in particular- spectacular! :D

Thanks for posting all of those. They're all fantastic, but the first one really made me jump: I've often admired it when looking for figures on the Sally 4th website, and wondered a number of times where it came from. It's a really beautiful model.

Now I'm all enthusiastic: I'll have to read the tutorial. While eating some cereal.

Just one question, does the gloss on one side bother you? and of so, how do you deal with it?

It's actually my second Tri motor build. The one in the tutorial Has a minor mistake nothing major just bugged the hell out of me.(made the top bar of the cockpit window sit too far up onto to the wing.) The replacement is uber shabby in comparison.
Most of the tricks and short cuts are in the tutorials. But the big No No. Is you never have the printed(shiny) up. This side takes superglue quite well.
But the main reason is the print will show up when you paint . It shows up in dry brushing, and certain angles of light . As the print is raised in layers on the surface. Rather than being absorbed into the surface.

But just to show you how daft you can get with cereal packet card and nearly a litre of superglue .

Thanks for the detailed tutorials on the workbench thread. The only trouble is that I'm having all kinds of megalomaniac ideas and my workbench is only a bit bigger than an A4 Sheet...

Please finish the model above, if only so we can all see what it should look like when complete...
