The only slight downer for me is the fact, that they look too much like the studio paintjob, I would have loved to see a painter of your expertise to use a different colour scheme!  ;)

Fair point. My only excuse for being lazy is that this the largest group of models I've painted for several years and they are quite complex in terms of detail. So most of my thought process went on what techniques to use and using the studio art as a reference made things a little easier. I do have a far more interesting colour scheme in mind for my proper gang if I ever get around to it.

The finished gang.






It was hard going towards the end. I really wanted to be done with them but they have so many little details. But at least they are finished and I did manage to test out some ideas, quite successfully, that will prove useful in future.
