Plan is to make the platform from 3mm MDF faced with PVC sheet. I do need to think about storage too...

Rich I’ve got some old 15mm ancients you could use for the carved scenes, just remind me next time we play. Also some of the really old 25mm ancients I’ve got might do for the statues.

trying to work out if I want to stick the buildings to the plinths or leave them seperate. I'm thinking stick them together as it'll protect the pillars but it will make storage that little bit harder...

The tower tops conviniently fit inside the towers (total fluke) and the 'dome' will be made to fit inside the main building. Probably make the rooves on the wings removable too. Might magentise the finials on the top so they can be removed too, stop them getting kocked about too much.

I've a storage box in mind (Banana box!) pity I didn't measure it before I started...

Yes storage may be an issue... Along with the rest of the planned table!

In addition there will be the Kroll Opera House and the various ruins in between the two...

PS Everytime I read the topic title I say to myself blood or porridge congeals and plans coalesce.....its like one of those annoying radio one songs you cannot get out of your head.

My plans congeal

The ideas wash around for a while until they congeal into a plan; much like blood or porridge they start out fluid and move around a lot until left undisturbed for a while, then they settle into something unpleasant but more solid.
