New update was just posted on the Perry Facebook page. The set will apparently include everything! Barding, light cavalry/mounted archers...

It looks like it will be an incredible set

YES PLEASE.

Seriously, these are just as good as their agincourt foot soldiers. It's awesome.

From what i've seen, the big issue is not the overall height but the scale of the details. Agincourt dresses are actually realistically proportioned, no need for exaggerated laces and studs. Even next to their WotR cousins they look... more adult. Next to fireforge they look just a bit odd.

That of course unless you start mixing the parts together. You'll lose a bit of "coherency" but the differences will get blurred.

Those latest greens look fantastic!

@3 fingers: Fireforge mini's are of much lower quality in design, aesthetics and detail. Perry and Victrix are imo A+, while Fireforge and etc is more of a B-. Not bad, but certainly not of the same quality as Perry and Victrix. Imo ofcourse. ;-)

Fireforge mini's are also smaller than the Perry HYW.

Sculpts so good, you buy them even if you have no need for them, use for them and even if you don't normally like the period very much. Looks to be another fantastic set, possibly the best one yet.

They look superb, I’ll buy them even though I need earlier 100YW figures and then leave them half-finished for 3 years and then sell them at a loss  lol

But why mounted archers?  Surely that’s a limited requirement that could easily be satisfied by a metal set?

Ok, they are really interesting. Wonder about them, in February they talked more about Colonial and Napoleonic. Now this step in the different period. But, I hope for more. Maybe some ECW in Platic and the toy soldier World is ok again.

I expect the intent is to not only allow mounted archers, but also valets de guerre and the less wealthy of the men at arms to be made from the set too. Cap-a-pie 'White Harness' was hardly ubiquitous amongst what we call 'men at arms' now.

I think facebook said you could make 12 men at arms from the box. It says the bodies are separate from the legs.
