Does anyone know if the Dick Garrison range was picked up by another company when the Wargames Supply Dump ceased trading last year?

Hopefully someone did....

When they closed up shop last year Roger said "Please be aware that we will not be selling the moulds or rights for our ranges on to anyone else"........which lets be honest sucks sooo bad... I miss the Dick Garrison range.

You can read more about it here:

Thanks, KONNOC.

I had read that somewhere but was hoping someone got them in the end.

Oh, well, I shall have to see about finding a way around that.

If you can let me know what you want (& what it looks like) I will trawl through my six file boxes of unpainted sci-fi figures.
A wide variety of manufacturers contributed to the collection over the decades.

Such a shame, I can't understand not selling on the rights or moulds unless there could be legal issues

This thread got me to check them out and I can't believe they haven't been sold on either! There must be some other reason, as you say.

The owner of the Wargames Supply Dump posted this comment:

'I don't think I could pass on the right as this was my baby and always will I guess, and who know one day maybe one of my kids will resurrect the stuff.'

His baby, so he can do whatever he likes.
No problem with that.

I guess I will see what I can pick up and then get converting.
 ;)

That's fair enough, though I daresay he could let someone produce them under licence for a limited time without giving the rights away?

Elk101, I agree with you, retain ownership while releasing under licence.

It is mainly Birdmen and Evil Troopers that I am after.
If I cant find any I guess I can make my own to fit my own ideas.
I am thinking that conversions of Crooked Dice TLS figures with a head swap would be a good choice (and I have a stack) and these could work pretty well as Evil Overlord Troops...
