While I was at Salute yesterday I spotted a set of Space Buccaneers/Pirates/Brigands that SHQ miniatures were selling. They also had another couple of sets of sci-fi figs that reminded me a bit of the old Warzone range. I bought the pirates (but I don't have them in hand yet as they had no stock) but the figures really intrigued me. I know SHQ bought Kennington miniatures a while back and that Kennington had bought the Folio Works 'High Command' Figures but I'm not sure these belong to that range. Does anyone with a long memory know where these figures originate from and who sculpted them?

Old Chiltern Miniatures SF stuff, IIRC. I wanted a set of those Space Pirates at some point for no reason. (other than their quirkiness.)

Yep. I figured it out last night after realising that most of sHq's stock was on a pdf linked to the site rather than on line.
