Beautiful! Crisp, clean painting, lovely depth of colour, and the basing is perfect. My favourite is the dwarf - not certain why! All I know is that I spent twenty minutes or so trying to find the Talisman Dwarf on eBay! Excellent stuff here - looking forward to more!

Excellent work colours are a perfect match. A pity the sprite mini had its neck amputated. ;)

Thanks everyone, I have more to photograph, maybe tonight.

Excellent work colours are a perfect match. A pity the sprite mini had its neck amputated. ;)

Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I took the pictures! At first I considered cutting off the flower and putting it back on the end of a wire, but the lack of neck only really struck me later. I might have gone for some neck extension surgery had it got under my skin then. Oh well, the talisman project is about going with the flow, anyway.  :)

Looks great. Neck or no neck, just a funny observation. Probably to solve a casting issue from back when they were created, neck too thin to properly form the head or too easily snapped.

Great figures and great painting.

My only comment would be for the Sprite.  I think giving her pupils takes her away from the otherworldly look she has in the picture and very much into the mundane.  With some kind of blank look to her eyes you would get a more ethereal feel to the figure I think.

My Talisman project continues to coast along at an easy pace and I've got three more to show today.

The Rogue

The Hobgoblin

The Troll

I wrote more about them on my blog: https://belchedfromthedepths.blogspot.com/2018/10/talisman-rogue-hobgoblin-and-troll.html

Yaay! I love how they are almost exactly the card art. Suberp painting, very evocative.

Very impressed by how closely you've been able to match both the colours and style of the illustrations. The hairs on the Rogue is such a fantastic detail. Really makes him come alive!

Great, almost cartoon-like and yet so full of character.  You have a very nice, clean painting style.
