What a great AAR. Just as I remembered. Looking aside from the dreadfull helicopter accident with 100% casualties, I was really surprised with how light our casualties were. They where almost always from accidents og lucky shots that spiraled out of control. Like when you hit thre tightly packed marines from acros town with a RPG.

To bad we did'nt get the warlord though.

NEXT TIME!!!!

It was a great game. The more I think about it the real heroes of the battle were the men of fireteam two, who fought the entire battle on foot took no casualties and poured enough fire into the militiamen to make sure the Marines kept the initiative once they had regained it after the first few turns.

Nice, board, nice figures, nice game. Why is Denmark so far away. Maybe at BLAM we can talk about Spectre...

Great looking game, plenty of inspiration for my own set up!
Don't know if you mentioned it but what company makes the figures, I'm guessing empress like the humvees?

The marines and the Hummers are from Empress. The militia is a mix of Eureka and Spectre. Two of the technicals are from Mantics The Walking dead and the rest are looted from Dr. Zombie Juniors toys.

Thanks.
I am currently experimenting with methods af making something that looks like a bullet richochet or impacting the ground to make supression markers I am not sure I am quite there yet. So any ideas are most welcome.

I have painted up som Tier 1 operators from Spectre. To be used as Tier 1 operators or private contractors.

And some african leader types and a removable crewman for the ZSU-23

The tier 1 types look good! As do the African leaders!

Not quite what you was thinking but I remember seeing somewhere suppression markers represented by dropped equipment (weapon magazines would look good imo) Don't know if that is of any help.

Nice report and project  8)

For outgoing fire markers there’s always shell casings and for incoming you could have multiple wisps of dust to represent rounds striking the ground. Maybe some strands of synthetic kapok (toy stuffing) painted dirt colour and stuck into pin holes in the ground. You could make the pinholes by poking a cocktail stick into sand that is moist from dilute PVA.

The explosion I have made ages ago to use as blastmarkers for Epic. But I have made these other ones to look like dust clouds from a ricochet. I think there is still room for improvement.

Also I have finished some more chain link fences.

And I painted up another ZSU-23 with removable crewman. It can go on the back of any of the Technicals. Although it is unlikely I will ever field two of them as it is a very powerful gun under the Spectre rules.

YEAH! Another big gun. How much fun.

Like the fences.

What happened to the bulletline supressionmarker? I stil think that would look awsome.
