Good start....
:)

Maybe this is for you:

But be warned working with shapeway models is often challenging.
Clean up, printlines, priming etc.
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - http://www.adpublishing.de

Cheers Agis, I had spotted those but I think I'll wait for the Tyrants of Lothal expansion and packs rather than have to deal with shapeways minis.

I've been cracking on with last four miniatures I have for Star Wars at the moment, the Clawdite Shapeshifters, I actually managed to get the flesh done one these along with a quick highlight on the grey and a wash this morning so I should be able to finish them off tomorrow.  For the colour scheme I'm basically following Zam Wesell's costume but changing the colour up to add variety.
It's likely these will see action as members of the Crimson Dawn under Maul, which is how I'm grouping the Scum and Villainy miniatures.

Dead exciting update today... crates!
Seriously though, they will be a nice bit of Star Wars scatter terrain.

Clawdite Shapeshifters are finished, just a quick tabletop job on these (I wasn't going to paint them until watching Solo) which I'm happy with and in the background the crates are just getting their shiny coating.

I'm going to test my new camera next and try to get some decent photo of all the Star Wars minis.

After finishing Hera Syndulla I've come to the end of the first wave of Star Wars minis I have to paint, so I've taken some new photos of all the miniatures with my new camera (it still needs to be worked on but I think the image quality has improved) which are now up on my blog:

With Stars Wars finished (for now) it's time to move on to the next project.  After having another run of 40k in recent weeks I came to the conclusion that I needed more Orks in my army to get the most out of them, so off to eBay I went and managed to bag quite a nice lot of 2nd Ed Orks for very little.
Other than being very dusty they were in good condition and the paint jobs will act as a decent undercoat, though I'll be painting them to match the rest of my plastic Goffs so they'll have a distinctly old school look to them.  The first work in progress picture is below, all the metals are being redone, the red getting a shade and a highlight and the same for the skin.

Cheers guys

More work on the Orks is done, the picture is a little dark though so some detail is lost (that red is very red - blood red highlighted with flaming orange) but the weapons, red and black all done.  Just need to highlight the skin with good old Goblin Green and then pick a symbol to paint on their backs (oh and the basing to match the rest of the army).
