I always liked the village in the 7 samurai, the film also by the way so I make my version based on a style gassho early enough dilapidated the peasants have other worries than to maintain their homes

Beautiful! You've managed to create the level of dilapidation that I strive for but never quite manage to pull off.  Nicely done thatch too. If you ever were to cast and sell these you've almost certainly got a buyer in me  :-*

my cutting mat I bought it this morning ... or was it yesterday ... my memory is not so good anymore with age lol
