Bushido Savage Wave (Updated: 05/06) - 16 Strong
« on: April 18, 2018, 05:01:41 PM »
It's seem the combination of warm weather and the Salute trip is fully juiced up my hobby mojo (I call him Tim, Tim the Mojo).

This morning in the space of 2 hours I cracked out my first ever Bushido mini and tried out a new paint/technique as well (Greenstuff Worlds Colourshift paint).

Anyway enough babble here's some pictures:

More pictures and random words that sometimes makes sense on me ol' Blog:

Thanks for looking :)

Very nice work, have been tempted to get some Bushido minis, but worries how they would size up against my samurai minis

Thanks very much. The standard Bushido humans are 32mm, so they tower over the 28mm ranges like Warlord & Perry and poor old Dixon & Foundry (Ex-Citadel) look like babies.

Here's a picture I found on the interwebs:

The poor Space Marine looks tiny hehe

Finished 50 Rice (The max ''point'' limit) Warband:

Quite enjoyed painting these, I'll most liky get a few more bits for it so I can have a play around with whats fun. I'd also like to try out the 2 Savage Wave Themes (Restrictions to you Warband but you gain bonuses), 1 being all Oni and Onisho and the other just various Bakemono and Beasts.

After that it's just deciding what other Warband I want to start so I can do some demoing at my local Club to drum up interest.

Thanks for looking

Great stuff  :)

Very nice work, have been tempted to get some Bushido minis, but worries how they would size up against my samurai minis

The 'monsters' etc would be fine but the human type figures won't fit.
cheers

Thanks lads, been a little while since I've updated this thread (Mostly been blogging or FB).

The Warband is now 16 strong:

Currently working on Cult of Yurei, Vampires Zombies and mad butchers :)
