Can't wait to blow that trestle bridge up in our next Mars game - are you doing a ruined one?  lol

I suppose I’ll have to now  lol

It’ll be a lot easier than a constructed one  :D

Fantastic, James! My bridge looks much more rickety. Not by design but by my lack of skills.

Crisis on Mars!

It is with a heavy heart that your humble servant, Archibald Harris-Hampton, has to inform you, dear reader, of the crisis unfolding on The Red Planet.

As some of you know already, diplomatic tensions between the Empires of Britain and Japan have been somewhat tense these past months due, not in some small part, to the actions of Allan Farquarson and his band of followers under the guise of the Great Martian Trading Company.

Things have now come to a head with the capture of Allan by the Japanese and their City Martian allies. The Crown cannot accept this course of events against this gallant British ex-serviceman.

The battle lines are being drawn between England and Japan without much regard for the other Nations on Mars and the rumour from both camps is “With us or Against us”.

What will the other Powers decide; to fight with the Imperialistic Japanese or to side with the British, the more numerous occupants of The Red Planet.

As ever, your humble servant will be no doubt be in the thick of things to record the historic events about to unfold...

Report from the Asahi Shimbun upon the situation in Mars.

The notorious Allan Farquarson has been finally captured by the Glorious Japanese army with help from our City Martian allies. He is being held in a compound 50 miles northwest of New Victoria until he can be transported to Japan to face justice for the crimes he has committed.

The British Government haven’t taken the necessary action against this notorious villain therefore the Imperial Japanese Forces have had to take matters into their own hands.

The British have been extending their influence on Mars beyond the agreed stipulations on the Expansion Treaty and this worrying state of affairs will have to be dealt with post haste.

The other Powers will need to decide who is the biggest threat on Mars. The expansionist British or the Japanese who are willing to work with other Governments for the betterness of all involved.

Yukimura Hasegawa - Martian Correspondent for the Asahi Shimbun.

And what do the British have to say about this?

Where will the Prussians, French and Americans stand?

Looking forward to this.
