Started on a heliograph station to back up the semaphore and telegraph  lol

It's going to have a large set of mirrors as the intention is for it to signal any aether ships in low orbit. Debating whether to give it it's own light source or not  :?

It's not got a base like the semahpore station as it will make for a good objective in the desert. I'll have to finish off the small mesa that they can both sit on.

cheers

Thanks chaps  :)

Plenty of other uses for it too.

Yeah, I'll be keeping the heliograph separate so the tower can used for other stuff  :)

Tower looks great, nice work!

“back up the semaphore and telegraph” What 😳 no steam powered Marconi Wireless sets, talk about living in the Stone Age 🤪😁😁🤪...

It's just a weak excuse to make something else, as if I didn't have enough to make for this bloody project anyway  lol

Finished the tower and will start on the heliograph soon.

It looks like a Bradford Tardis  :D I like that Mars has that Industrial red brick Victorian look so the colonists will feel at home.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Very cool! I particularly like the stone coursing to the base.
