Soviet-Afghan war in 15mm
« on: April 20, 2018, 10:32:55 PM »
I made a rare impulse buy, and purchased PSC’s new plastic T-55s at Vapnartak. I decided to resurrect my old ‘Afghanistan’ project, which I walked away from when it was almost complete.

First up, some terrain featuring one of Peter Pig’s T-55 wrecks:

There’s a walkthrough of how I made the hill here: http://nerdlard.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/desert-hill-and-burned-out-t-55.html

I’ll post more stuff as the project progresses.

Very cool! I'm tempted to build a 3 tank hill now  :)

Thanks everyone.

I have no idea what a '3 tank hill' is but go for it!

I've finished my first Soviet infantry unit. The BMP-1 is Old Glory. The figures are mostly Old Glory with a few Peter Pig miniatures mixed in.

More details on the blog, as usual: https://nerdlard.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/soviet-infantry-squad-in-afghanistan.html
