28mm Marder 3 and some Tank Hunters and now machine guns
« on: April 23, 2018, 04:05:19 PM »
This is my first go at a camouflaged vehicle in this scale, I think I may have gone a little overboard on the washes but at some stage you got to call these things done otherwise you'll get nothing to the table lol.
The Artizan figures are very nice sculpts and a joy to paint  :)

The Artizan Infantry are indeed a joy to paint.
Nice chunky details and seem to take paint very well.

And the Marder looks fine. Certainly not overboard on washes

Fabulous! Really like that Marder and crew but the tank hunter team is excellent as well.

Out of all the Marder models that is my favourite  ....it has that "we made this ourselves in the workshop" look 😂

Really nice paint job on that and not too much washes IMHO.
May I ask which manufacturer?

Excellent painting on both the vehicle and figures.
One of my favorite German armor vehicles.
May I ask is 1/56 or 1/48?

Thank you, the paint pallette is very much inspired by your blog 😉

Beautifully done, both men and machine. Brings out how the crew of the Marder are exposed, doesn't seem safe at all standing behind that shield.  8) 8) 8)

Beautiful. One realizes how exposed the crew of a tank like the Marder was: tall over ground, only partial cover...

Great work, Jeff.
I have come to fully expect excellent figures and now you have mastered vehicles too as that tank has turned out a treat!
 :-* :-*

The only disappointment comes with the lack of snow....
Having gotten me hooked on snowy stuff with that book I expected more coldness over here.
 ;D

Maybe you will be adding it later....
