I have one half-finished:But I don't like the resullt. It seems "not a real house".
I would suggest your windows/door are too small and your roof tiles are on the large side.
Try a photograph with a figure next to it.The roof looks fine, my concern is that the windows are a bit too high up the wall, but that is difficult to judge without a figure for scaling.
A couple of thoughts ...- maybe apply sand to the walls (simply coat walls with PVA and dip building in sand) to create a pebble dash or textured effect. That will also make the joins between floors a little less obvious.- if you don't fancy pebbledash you could experiment with something like Tetrion to give a more textured effect. Whether you use sand or tetrion you will find that washes and dry brushing then bring out the effect.- shutters should all be hinged on the same side of the window frame.EC
- mount the building on a base, then you can put flower beds, wood pile, whatever around the edge.
