A question about Brandenburgers
«

What disguises did they wear over the course of the war? Interested in some american minis but not all that interested in a full american force but thought, Brandenburgers might be viable as I have a German collection.

For starters they wore civilian clothes and Polish uniforms during the invasion of Poland in 1939, I'm led to believe.

now that I think more about it, you should dress them as pantomime horses - this should work on all fronts

Did they dress up as brits or American airborne at any time? Interested in this (
https://store.warlordgames.com/collections/new-releases/products/us-airborne-squad-winter
) squad but dont fancy a full winter american force.

Though not Brandenburgers
Einheit Stielau
in the Ardennes 1944 wore US Army uniforms as part of Operation
Greif
(Griffin).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Greif#Einheit_Stielau_mission
Panzer Brigade 150 also dressed partly in US Army uniforms and used US equipment or German equipment mocked up or just painted olive green with stars to resemble US vehicles.
