Battles for Empire II ?
« on: April 29, 2018, 12:04:11 AM »
Anyone play Battles for Empire II  ? How is it ?
Im looking for a set of rules to refight some of the historical battles of the Anglo-Zulu War.

Thanks!

I've got it. It has some relationship to Fire & Fury, although I wouldn't call it a copy, but it shares some of the ideas (e.g a combined move/morale check).
You'll need a lot of figures - it's really designed for 15mm or smaller scales.
Death in the Dark Continent covers the same ground, requires fewer figures, and seems to do the Zulu war pretty well; if you are using larger scales, I'd recommend those rules.

I'm looking to use 10mm figures based in units to fight historical scenarios, if that helps.

Then BFE may be just what you want - there's a very good set of scenarios available for the rules.
