Just to stop any possible questions concerning the chaos space marine backpacks in their tracks:"They are not there, since I like the models better without those ridiciously oversized things."

I didn't notice their absence...  :? But then again, it is rather late...

Braxandur, you've outdone ourself. The picture is great and the models look great too, also the bases look very neat, and the khornate idol worked out very well too! Taking everything into account a great entry. The other entry could have been bigger, and looks nicely painted but doesn't have a great diversity of models.

Good job Brax! The absence of the backpacks really gives the models a new feel/look. Nice entry!

The second entry looks good also, but some close-ups would be nice. Also, I'm not a big fan of the orange grass.

Totally different and I quickly knew who got my vote. I love the composition, colors, miniatures and painting style of Braxandur more than from LMR's picture. I alos like variaty a lot and the second picture has a bit of a "attack of the clones" look to me.

Your best entry so far Brax! But next time paint the pupils of your cultist's eyes :P

Okay, I can't quote literaly from the Slaves to Darkness book, but I'm pretty sure that daemons of khorne have milk-white pupils.
Those of the cultist are intentionally left milk white as a sign of their allegiance.

Next time more luck finding an error in the reasons why I name or paint entries as I do ;)

I knew the white eyes are intentional but that doesn't mean it can't look better...

I really think that pupils on cultists look much better than white eyes. Now they are zombie-like which IMO does fit a Nurgle warband but less for a Khornate one. Normal or animalistic eyes would have made them less zombie-like.

Once again, thanks for all the comments, guys.

The clone comment makes me laugh : I know what you mean, but I like the old school feeling of multiples same poses, but they aren't enough minis on the photo !  ;)

By the way, I think the orange grass is better than the previous green one  ::) lol

And I would like to truly apologise to Lowtardog for the title : i remembed he told he gave these minis to a friend and I believed it was because he hate them, but after a quick search :

he was not harsh at all in his comment, So sorry, Karl  ;)
