First Chechen War figures

Hello.
I am very happy having supported this KS from Tiny Terrain Models because the figures, sculpted by Igor Karpov are very nice. Perhaps smaller than I would like to have had them, but very nice.
Here are my first painted Chechen warriors, o rebels, or insurgents...



I am now painting some Russian VDV soldiers to play an scenario with the "Skirmish Sangin" ruleset.

My guys came in the mail a few days ago.
Happy with the way they look.
Also was a little surprised at their size.
Have to compare them with my Red Star/ Empress figures.
Now just have the time to paint them.
(Am really hot into painting WW2 and playing Bolt Action right now.)

Just how small are they? They looked chunky in the KS pictures. Maybe a comparison shot is in order?

I think that I posted this in the Kickstarter thread a while back.



Empress / Kickstarter Chechen / Wargames Factory/ SASM / Kickstarter Chechen / Eureka

They're equivalent to the other more realistically proportioned 28mm out there. The guns are larger than Empress/ Spectre - more in line with the plastic ones from Warlord Games, or SASM's older stuff - however nowhere near the Games Workshop like guns which Igor's Lead Adventure ones come out at .


Anyohow, those are nice figures Juan. You may be the first person I've seen who's gone to the effort of proper highlights.

Thanks a lot.
I expected to have these figures in the same size than the LAM ones, because I have some of them, but I love them because they are very proportioned, have a lot of character and are a pleasure to paint.
