Interesting. Ive played a little Legion and it does not feel like Bolt Action to me. Mostly because of the movement, combat, and cover rules, but the activation system itself is actually quite different in play.

My only major negative at this time is excessive use of tokens and the non-intuitive cover system.

My son, who doesn't normally play miniature games, was able to pick it right up and really liked vadering my rebels. That's a major positive!

I believe the supression mechanic was their most obvious Bolt Action comparison.

I went out and bought Legion two weeks ago. I have not played yet but I have build and painted the figures.

The figures and vehicles are very good. They appear to be some sort of spin cast plastic rather than injection moulded plastic.

The production quality is very good as you would expect from FFG.
Even though it appears expensive at first, when you take into account the Tokens, Cards and figures, I think it is good value for money.

Mick, I’ve read they don’t respond to plastic glue - is that right?

They won't...they're PVC. So you will need superglue.

I used superglue - plastic cement (i.e. MEK) does not work.
