Is Team Yankee playable in 20mm
« on: May 02, 2018, 11:42:46 PM »
For those of you who have played or read the rules for Team Yankee I would like to know what if any changes would need to be made to play the game with 20mm models in your opinion?

Never really played TY, but I read the rules. I also have played FOW... I reckon it is playable. The table will look a bit more crowded because the larger footprint of the modesn and buildings.  I would suggest to increase distances by half. To make sure my math is understood... ( sorry got in silly discussion with my mother who is a retired math teacher... about numbers  8) ) if the 73mm gun on the BMP-1 is listed as 16" put it a 24" . In my humble opinion it gives a better 'look' with 20mm models. On the other hand you may want to increase space or reduce forces (and leaving indirect fire stuff off table).

Awesome. I assumed table size and ranges would need to be increased. I just have a large collection of 20mm but rules look interesting.

The great acreage of tanks jammed nose to tail look daft enough in 15mm. In 20mm it'd look like the Local Council's Municipal Car Park!!!
