We'll be back doing Pulp Alley at Drums at the Rapids, May 19. Two events planned, one for the morning session and one for the afternoon. Convention is at the Fort Meigs museum in Perrysburg, Ohio. If you're near the Toledo Ohio area, drop in for some fun.

The official description:

The year is 1895. Word has spread in arcane circles: archaeologists have made astounding discoveries at the famous and mysterious Irish megalithic stone circle on Tullyconor Moor. Four cults with widely differing agendas have arrived at the site to seize the knowledge—and the artifacts—for their own purposes and will destroy anyone who gets in their way! A Pulp Alley adventure.

Finally got all the finishing touches on the major terrain elements.

First the Reaper Stone Circle:

Red Dragon Gaming's barrow tomb:

And Fogou's barrow entrance:

More to follow....

I was talking aloud to myself. A habit of the old: they choose the wisest person present to speak to; the long explanations needed by the young are wearying.

Yes - those are nice pieces. I’m inspired to copy them. I have no excuse not to, considering Stonehenge is half an hour south of me and the West Kennet long barrow 15 minutes to the north.

The Clash of Cults was held at Drums at the Rapids in Perrysburg, Ohio. The con is put on by the Great Lakes Chapter of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society.

I actually ran the game twice, but was too tired to record the second game!

You can find a very nice PDF here:

Lovely stuff.
I have seen the Florence Farr  figure before, but who makes it/her?

Florence's figure is Hasslefree Minature's Lenore:

She also comes in a "dynamic" version:

And there is also a "skyclad" version as well.

Lenore is a very versatile figure, suitable for many different periods, and she's near perfect to head the Golden Dawn.

Great AAR.  And I may have to add some of those figures to my collections of Yellow Cultists.

I thin my favourite thing is that there's so many ranges of pulp-usable cultists, that you can have a game with four completely different cults.

Great report Oabee!  Loved the pictures, story line, and miniatures.  Very well put together.

Thanks for sharing, can't wait for Penelope's next "adventure".
