Harlequin Fighting Men
« on: May 06, 2018, 09:51:58 AM »
Ages ago, Harlequin made a range of figures called (I think) 'Fighting Men'. They were sculpted by Mark Copplestone and were late medieval / early renaissance figures. Does anyone know who owns the range now? Thanks.

Do you mean these ones? They were grenadier ones though.

Many thanks. Those are indeed the ones I meant. I'm not sure where I got the name Harlequin from ---- must be old age.

No, it was the ones now sold by Mirliton. I wonder whether they have a UK stockist.

Forlorn hope games used to but are sadly no longer trader. Maybe try contacting em4 miniatures. They had the let forlorn hope do the fantasy selling but they only have the bishop listed on their site.

Try Miniature Heroes, although I understand he's now longer a Mirliton supplier, so when the stocks gone, it's gone

He seems to be trading on ebay, and does have some of the Fighting Men on sale.

If you click on the items on the website, http://www.forlornhopegames.com/ it takes you to that section in his ebay shop. I've never seen that before, very clever.

Many thanks everyone. I was after the large hand cannons with crew and I've now ordered them through Mirliton itself in Italy. They kindly have come up with an alternative cheaper way of posting the figures to me.

Out of curiosity, what are you planning on doing with those giant hand guns?

They have a cheaper way of posting? I must ask myself! I've been after stuff but postage is ridiculous.

Griefbringer: I have some GW Empire figures from the 80s in my collection. I've always fancied the hand cannons, and I thought they might make a nice addition.
