I enjoyed reading your blog and the potted history of the de la Pole family was very interesting. Linking the three battles into a mini campaign is a good idea, I must try something like that . We too play L.Rampant and the P. Lament and I always enjoy the uncertainty of the games .

Great looking game and lovely figures, great read too. Great background information, plenty of "what ifs". :)

You always produce one of the best looking games I can recall.

Mind you, I’m not sure ‘home made cider’ and ‘drinking responsibly’ go together lol

Haha it’s funny how traditions evolve. When Oli and I first gamed we had French cider and some florentine biscuits in honour of the forces on the table in that particular game and then repeated for every game since. It almost feels wrong not to have cider now though the home made stuff was also suitable as a biofuel !

Tudor soldiers had a daily ration of 12 pints of beer so it’s almost historical. It makes perfect sense I think, hic

Fantastic work as ever and an intriguing AAR. Your rule amendments and army lists provide much food for thought. Thanks for posting!

I read your blog post last night and was inspired to disinter a Tudor project I began last year and which had got thoroughly stalled...
