Got the deck guns and mountings sorted. Decided to keep the Marsilly carriage and alter them a bit. The trunion brackets have been left off so the guns can be painted separately. I’ll finish a few more deck details then look at the sides of the hull.

So, after two failed attempts at getting the hull sides right it's third time lucky. With any luck it'll be getting it's first coats of paint next week.




Still a couple of little things to tidy up but I'm happy with the process and will tidy everything once it's all in place.

Love how neat your work is everything looks very uniform and precise particularly love the stairs any advice on making similar stairs as I have struggled in the past.

I’m very impressed with the hull cladding - and am not surprised it took an effort to get so right

What thickness plasticard did you? Did you heat it? What glue? So many questions .....  :)
