« on: May 12, 2018, 07:59:04 PM »
Where can I buy some weapon/armor/bits sets for GASLANDS?  My bits box doesnt really have anything suitable.  Any company sell conversion sets i can throw on a hot wheels car?

ramshackle do a whole set of 20mm bits designed for gaslands. Plus bikers.

+1 for Ramshackle, and don't forget WorldForge Games (is that their name?) who created the Devil's Run game.

The last KS had a conversion set, and I think, their first one, too. I definitely remember an update some months ago, where they presented it.

Brigade Games have several sets: http://brigadegames.3dcartstores.com/Vehicle-Customization-Parts_c_585.html

Stan Johansen Road Warrior stuff features weapons, armor parts: http://stanjohansenminiatures.com/Road.htm

Sgt's Mess have weapons (at least some with gun mounts), oil drums and other bits. While mostly for WWII some still look usefull: http://www.sgtsmess.co.uk/modifications.html

Word Forge Games have allready been mentioned, here's the link: http://www.wordforgegames.com/shop/devils-run-shop/accessories/stash-and-debris-tokens-162-detail

MJ Figures moderns might be worth alook as well: http://mjfigures.co.uk/product-category/20mm/20mm-modern/

S&S Models have a couple of conversion sets & kits (mostly modern and post war): http://sandsmodels.com/product-category/172-20mm-post-war-modern-vehicles/172-20mm-post-war-modern-vehicles-postwar-conversion-kits/ and http://sandsmodels.com/product-category/modern-heavy-weapons/
They also have a barricade made out of a school bus: http://sandsmodels.com/product/school-bus-barricade/

Elhiem should have some usefull bits as well both under 'vehicles' as well as in their 'Elhiem Miniatures' range: https://www.elhiem.co.uk/ourshop/

Two things bear repeating, methinks.

1) There are some HW that have weapons on them. Bit silly, most, but you can find 'em.

2) I've heard that GW's old Dark Future games and Battlecars (not the original Battlecars game) car box are sought for the bikers, but there are sprue with guns, rockets, and turrets.

Word Forge Games do a conversion set but it's quite pricey for what it is cause it comes with a deck of cards for Devil's Run. Might be worth contacting them though as they sold me a set sans cards at Salute. As for armour and stuff I just use plasticard and damage it up a bit with a knife, also wire mesh is useful.

Other folk's have covered most things but if your looking for crew as well as weapons take a look at 1/72 plastic minis sets, stuff like Pegasus gladiators make fun Mad Max style crew. I also have some greasers left over if that's your thing.  ;)

*Bold and underlined are links, LAF's styles doesn't make them stand out by default.

The Gaslands Facebook group is one of the most active ones I've seen! Definitely worth joining if you haven't already (and are able to) as there are a few members making thier own bits and pieces.
