X-Wing conversions/repaints

I had these conversions in mind for some time since I saw them in the REBELS show episode: Minig Guild TIE fighters. It was easy to cut away the panels and to repaint them in yellow. Now they really stand out on the gaming table...

Yes, I do. According to fan powered lore the design sacrificed maneouvrability for better sight. However I don´t care about that. TIEs are arlready paper tigers, I wouldn´t take what´s left to them...

They also had a notch cut in their stabilizers, giving them only eight solar collectors instead of twelve, which gave them improved visibility, but greatly diminished their combat capabilities and maneuverability.

Lovely weathered yellow - a tough colour to do. The company logos on the side really sell the changes as well. Beautiful work!

Just need to make some crazy space whale creatures to go with them now...
