Suspects in the Sticks.... (Lemonade Wars) Game Pics.

Last night we put the combat rules for Lemonade Wars to the test with a few starter sized games to check the balance of everything.

The table was set up to represent a more rural encounter utilising the Old West scenery collection and some 1:43 scale cars to help set the scene. The figures have been made with this scale of die-cast in mind.
 





The Beat Cops move in on the suspect who appears to be carrying a shotgun.
'This young lass may be up to no, good, I reckon...'  said Officer Tiddles.






Little do they know that they are being followed by a Mole Thug, who is getting dangerously close with those claws!

So long as could keep them in sight, that was.....






Things were starting to get a little tense as there were more suspicious looking characters lurking behind that bus...

 





The Beat Cops had been lured in further and the trap was sprung...







With poor old Ida Goodnose caught up in the middle!




We got a couple of games in and these are the only pictures that were taken, but the rules seem to be working well, especially if you 'Push Ya Luck!'

I've been praying for Wind in the Willows style minis for years - and these look pretty close!  Mason, is there a page where one can get a look at the sculpts so far? I've been on Blind Beggar's site, but can't seem to find much in terms of photos. I probably missed it...

Officer Tiddles knew that an encounter with an enraged Mole was not to be dismissed lightly....






...as Agent Churchill Harsky was about to find out!






Tiddles found an easier suspect to contend with up close and personal. Mind those spines!



Although The Law were having a tough time of things in this first game.




Whereas, in game two, a huge 'off' occurred in the centre of the table.




From which The Law emerged triumphant this time.....





Leaving the Gangsters to trot off back to the Sticks to lick their wounds...
