Thanks. Must have tools to start off I’d say are a very sharp blade that you replace often, a ballpoint pen for detailing and a ball of scrunched up tin foil for texture. Optional tools would be a Hotwire cutting table like a proxxon. I’ve probably missed some but you can do a lot with just those.

Highly atmospheric, and some wonderful fantasy Renaissance figures there.

The new witchhunter is very nice with its rich tones and expert brushwork.

Another Witch Hunter finished. Two more to do, then it’s on to the zealots and flagellants. Also included a group shot.

Fantastic painting on these great old Dave Andrews figures. I’ve not seen better.

Going to get the warband completed for Mordheim’s 20th anniversary in December 2019?

I was wondering who the sculptor was ... we're so spoilt for superb figures these days, but these really are fab (the faces!) - when would they date from?

having said that, the painting is so brilliant - maybe it's flattering them to a degree.

They’re from 1999 when Mordheim was released.

Dave Andrews also did the possessed figures. His stuff is chunky, but very characterful.

I reckon the Mordheim figures are among the best GW has done, and the Witch Hunters are among the best from Mordheim. And boy, do they look good here! Superb work.

I messed up the paint job on the remaining two Witch Hunter variants, so whilst they take a bath in dettol, I turned my attention to the henchmen. First up, a sword wielding zealot.
