I am thinking about it. It's not so far away and I'm getting back into things after stupid old 'real life' has kept me busy for ages...

Must add more lead to the mountain... must add more lead to the mountain...   o_o

I'd recommend it as well.
Just a thought to spice the day up there's a multi period event on down the Road at Thorsby park.
I'll be at the show in the morning and bobbing a long to meet up with friends at the park to see how the kit I made them is holding up.

Mark.

Went the day well?  Yes it bloody did!  Cracking show, a lot of very good games of which the standouts were AlCal’s Stalingrad and Aly Morrison’s WW1 game but there were more high quality games per square foot than I can recall.  We got a lot of nice comments and made several very interesting contacts as well as seeing the usual suspects.  The few traders I spoke to seemed happy enough, given the unavoidable near clash with Hammerhead, although that may be because I was throwing my credit card at them.

Somewhat unusually, our game drew Ged Cronin, who as Gringo 40 supplies the figures; Dave Bodley, who as Grand Manner, designed and cast the buildings and Rich Clarke, who as a fat lardie wrote the rules.  If we’d managed to get the chap from Tiny Warmats we’d have had a full set!

Knackered, but happy.

House!

Did Dave Bodley like what you’d done with his Italianate convent / monastery?  :)

Yes, which makes me a rather happy bunny  :)

Except I keep thinking of the things I'd do better now if it wasn't all assembled  :(

But there's still work to do on the interiors  :D

And there's nuns to paint  lol

We arrived about 2pm so a much shorter visit than we would have hoped, but what we saw looked good
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
