I wouldn’t add too much foliage to the tree bases. In a dense forest the vast majority of the biomass is in the canopies. The trees block most of the sunlight from getting to the floor, so mostly the bottom is fungi and mosses.
For hills and rocks in a jungle setting I use a few different items I've found in the aquarium supply area of big box pet stores - and, shh, don't let out my secret! - the amphibians and lizards section of the same store. I make semi-regular stops to see what is available and about two thirds of the time I find something to purchase game-wise.Looking good so far - but get out the dull coat and put it to good use.
