How big is it?

From the pictures, it looks huge - about 8 metres x 2 metres (24ft x 6ft), but I am not sure if that is an illusion.

And now I have ordered the new Crusader Partisans to add to my Gorgon ones!  lol

Yep...you’re not the only one.  Looks like some of those will work for Crete, perhaps with some head swaps.

How did the game itself play out?

Very well, thank you.  We played two Chain of Command scenarios based on the events of May 20th. The Germans successfully stormed the RAF camp in the first one (though with some serious resistance from the New Zealanders.  In the afternoon we did the counterattack with the Matildas, which ground to a halt after the Matildas broke down.  A pretty historical result.
