Hi all, ...It's been a while, but I'm BACK with another stone carve....
As usual the materials consist of card board, foam core, tooth picks, craft sticks and kitty litter.
This is my rendition of a fortified manor house...i took liberty from a number of reference pieces to get this one started...

references.....https://corunnihalsei.deviantart.com/art/work-in-progress-Bretonnian-castle-part-2-521903757

I still need to add the chains and the lift/lower mechanism for the drawbridge....soon to add pics of that...

Let me know what ya think, good or bad....it's why I post here, so I can get input from all of you,
Cheers,
Carl

Drawbridge chains and lift/lower mechanism complete...

Hey thanks guys,
yeah, it took me longer than I wanted...I started it just before last Halloween...THEN I caught the flu...and THEN the rest of life got in the way....so I took 7 months to complete what I had planned to do in 2 months..... :( c'est la vie eh?!
cheers,
Carl

This is awesome - needs to be at the centre of some photographic battle reports soon, methinks.

Fantastic piece of work. I especially like that you have put in all the interior detail too - you did a complete job.
