The continuation of your work is more and more surprising! I'm following with great interest! Cheers!

The desk's rails are finished too !

the rails conversion :

the "metal" sticks fixed in the rails are welding rods (more stronger than a paper clip for this use). ;)

the rails on the deck :

joined and holes filled.

and the final result :

all part of the steering oars are glue strongly to prevent accident when moving/handling the galley.

i don't want to see my job ruined by a bad handling.   o_o o_o

I have to build a special box for transportation now  :'( :'( :'(

the job on the mast

As it's hollow, i fill it with styrene and then join with wood glue "all in one" style (see start of the topic)  ;).
A little pass over with the grinder to rounded the mast.

detail of the mast's base.

and now the sail's pole (barbecue stick again) :

then we have to add the sail, which'll be in rest position (it's easier).

Here a paper handkerchief deployed to see the right size.

It is rolled over itself and fixed to the sail's pole.

The glue varnish is pass over to make the sail more strong and rigid.

and it's done !    :-* :-*

enjoy
