RACM32's Modern 1/72 projects *updated 7/22*
« on: May 28, 2018, 01:09:36 AM »
EDIT: Decided to turn this into a consolidated thread for my 20mm modern projects since I'm working alot on it right now, this way I wont spam a bunch of different posts.

So I did some touch up on this house I built a few years ago and gave it a base. Loads more photos on my blog: http://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2018/05/20mm-modern-buildings.html

Nice houses. The washing line is a neat touch.

So this is just about all my finished 20mm Modern European terrain. With this I can layout a small residential section and smaller industrial section. I have 3 more house sections to build and several more industrial. Once done I should be able to set up a 6x4 table (one in pictures is 6x3) as all residential, all industrial, or all agricultural.
I also noticed after laying out the miniatures for the photos that I could use more to give proper sized squads for the rules I use so have ordered a bunch more (shhh dont tell my wife). A bunch more pictures on my blog: http://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2018/06/20mm-town-layout.html

Finished 5 road sections that are without side walk, 4 rail sections, and a crossing. I think it will add nice character and playability to the battle scape.

Our base's Historical Wargaming club had our second game today and used my 20mm Modern collection for a battle set in Ukraine. The scenario: Local Nationalist forces have just gotten word that a Separatist tank which has been harassing their sector for weeks is broken down in a near by town but a Separatist engineer is working quickly to fix it. The Nationalist mission is to destroy or capture the tank before it is fixed and can flee the battlefield. The Separatist need to fix the tank and get it out of reach from the Nationalists. The tank is having engine problems and cant move and is out of rounds for it main gun. However the co-axle and top pental-mounted MMG/HMG are both working. The engineer bust be given an order die to perform a fix action, once 6 have been performed the tank is fixed. http://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2018/06/club-game.html
Here are some shots of the table setup before deployment. A few more shots of the game are on my blog:
